Our Habitat for Humanity house this year to be built in partnership with other local churches is located at 6328 Banks Street, Huntsville, AL. Over $2300 was raised in our yard sale to help us build this house. It will be the home of Conswella Tatum and her son Corterious. The stud signing for use in the walls of the new house will be Sunday, February 26 after the service. A "Tentative Building Schedule" for the house may be found on the foyer tables. It’s that time of year again where we collect, assemble, and distribute food packs for families right next door at Madison Elementary School. This will be our 4th of 5 food distributions as our goal for the past 3 years has been to supply food to families for the following school breaks (Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring, and End of the Year). A menu has been put together, and the following dates will be important for you to know as our church fulfills this community need!

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MISSION OPPORTUNITY
Dr. Jerry Graham needs volunteers to participate in a medical mission trip to Santiago and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on May 12-27, 2012. The team will work for a week with International Mission Board missionary Carlos Llambes in Santiago, then travel to Santo Domingo for another week of service. The team will be holding medical, dental, and eye glasses clinics with local Haitian churches, working with Haitian refugees, and helping Carlos establish new churches in those areas. No medical experience is necessary. Workers are needed for evangelism and witnessing as well as the work above. Some financial aid is available.
