MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the First Baptist CDC is to provide quality child care for young children and families of the First Baptist Church and the surrounding community, while educating and nurturing them in a loving, Christian environment by qualified and well-trained teachers.
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY:
The philosophy of the First Baptist CDC is first and foremost to love and care for each child as an individual. An environment exists where there is acceptance, respect, caring and encouragement. The children are encouraged to learn through hands-on experiences that allow each one to progress at their own, unique pace. There are many varieties of activities provided to enhance their learning through all areas of development: physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. The goal of this program is to provide a warm, loving environment where children learn through play, interaction with others and developmentally appropriate activities.

Full Day Care
The full day care is Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM for ages 8 weeks to 4 years old. No child is allowed to stay over ten hours. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are provided.
Half Day Care
The Half-Day program is from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM for children ages three and four, (must be 3 or 4 by September 1). The three year old class comes on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The four year old class has a three day and five day program. Three day comes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The five day is Monday through Friday.
Before and After School Care
You have the option of choosing before and after school care or just after school care. Breakfast is served for children here from 7:00 AM- 7:20 AM. We have a full day care for school age children when Madison City Schools are closed. After school care is only available to students at Madison Elementary School, located beside First Baptist.
